Attorney Jennifer V. Abrams

Highly regarded by her peers for her skills as a negotiator and litigator, Jennifer V. Abrams is one of Las Vegas' most vigilant divorce attorneys. She practices exclusively in divorce matters in Clark County, and regularly handles complex cases and those that involve considerable assets.

She is a State Bar of Nevada Certified Family Law Specialist. It is not uncommon for opposing parties to retain additional counsel when facing her in contested divorce matters. Fellow attorneys regularly refer complicated contested divorce matters to her, and she has represented many attorneys or their spouses.

Ms. Abrams is the update author of two chapters of the State Bar of Nevada's Family Law Practice Manual. She served on three separate committees that were charged with filing Amicus Briefs with the Nevada Supreme Court on behalf of the State Bar of Nevada, Family Law Section. Currently, Jennifer is working with the Nevada Family Law Judges and Attorneys to implement her new version of the Financial Disclosure Form, a form used in the Family Courts statewide.

Jennifer Abrams attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude (ranked 9th out of 255 students). She served on the Pepperdine Law Review for two years, and earned the Dean's Honor List Award, the American Jurisprudence Bancroft-Whitney Award and the CALI Excellence Award, among other honors.

Attorney Abrams also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting Theory and Practice from California State University, Northridge, and has completed the Nevada Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination.

She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, and was elected by her industry peers to serve on its Family Law Executive Council. She is also a member of the Clark County Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America), the California State Bar and the Louisiana State Bar (inactive).



Attorney Vincent Mayo


Attorney Vincent Mayo is certified by the State Bar of Nevada as a family law specialist. He has practiced in family law throughout his career and has successfully represented spouses in divorce and post-divorce matters.

Mr. Mayo graduated from the American Bar Association's Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute. The Institute, which is the preeminent trial training program for family law practitioners, selects only 50 applicants from across the country per year.

Vincent currently serves as the co-editor of the Nevada Family Law Practice Manual. This reference guide is used by all Nevada family law attorneys and judges, and contains a compilation of Nevada statutes, case law, and state and local rules.

Prior to joining The Abrams Law Firm, Vincent practiced in family law for another prestigious Southern Nevada law firm. He also previously served as a law clerk for Clark County Family Court Judge, The Honorable Gloria Sanchez.

Vincent Mayo attended the University of Dayton School of Law, where received the Dean's Award Scholarship and Dean's List Honors. While completing his juris doctorate, he also served as associate editor of the Dayton Law Review as well as the Moot Court Litigation team, while working as a law clerk for a Fortune 500 company.

Attorney Mayo is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and its Family Law Executive Council. He also belongs to the American Bar Association (for which he serves as a panelist), the Nevada Justice Association and Clark County Bar Association.



Attorney Robert Cerceo


While working for prestigious Family Law Firms in both Las Vegas and Reno, Attorney Robert (Bob) Cerceo has built an impressive resume of family law experience over the last seventeen years.

In addition to being a State Bar of Nevada Certified Family Law Specialist, he has been elected, by Family Court Judges and his Family Law colleagues, as the State Bar of Nevada Family Law Section Chairperson of the Executive Council.

Attorney Cerceo has received the distinction of being selected as a Mountain States SuperLawyer in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Bob handles all aspects of Family Law, including Appeals, and has served as a litigator, mediator, arbitrator, and a juvenile court pro tem hearing master. He has worked as the lead drafter on several Amicus Briefs for The Supreme Court of Nevada, most notably Ogawa and Hedlund.

Robert Cerceo is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys. From 2006 through 2010, he also served as the editor of the Nevada Family Law Report, in addition to being a contributing author for the Nevada Family Practice Manual.

Bob is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, American Bar Association, Washoe County Bar Association, and the Howard D. McKibben American Inn of Court. Attorney Cerceo practices in the United States District Court, District of Nevada; United States Court of Appeals and; The United States Supreme Court. He received his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University, School of Law, in 1993.
